USA Payroll acquires HR consulting firm

USA Payroll Inc. has acquired a local human resources and regulatory compliance consulting company, a move officials from both companies said will expand USA Payroll’s services and lead to employee growth.USA Payroll, based in Brighton, announced Tuesday it had acquired Driven HR LLC. The move coincided with recent additions to USA Payroll’s slate of services. Ralph Fornuto, owner of USA Payroll, said the company has recently added a workforce management platform and software-as-a-services based payroll platform as well as a system to more efficiently bring new employees on board.“With a full-service HR division, we can now leverage our extensive resources and technology to enhance the services we offer our clients,” Fornuto said.Frank Cania, the founder and president of Driven HR, said it was a mutually beneficial acquisition. He noted his company will gain from access to the payroll clients of USA Payroll.“As Driven HR approaches its 10-year anniversary in June, joining forces with USA Payroll allows us the opportunity to accelerate our growth while adding a new line of business to USA Payroll’s suite of services,” Cania said. “As an integral part of USA Payroll, we’ll continue to provide our existing clients with the outstanding human resources consulting services they’ve come to expect, and welcome the opportunity to partner with new clients.”Driven HR, formerly known as Cania HR, will exist as a standalone company known as Driven HR, a USA Payroll company. The move is expected to lead to continued employee growth, Fornuto said, with three to five new employees added by the end of the year.
